Accessibility statement
This website should work for everyone.
Last updated: October 2026
Upper Cumberland Digital wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification or other assistive technology.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA, the widely used standard for accessible websites. We build every site, ours and our clients’, with accessibility in mind from the start.
What we’ve done
- Every image has a text description, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- The whole site works with a keyboard alone, with a visible outline showing where you are and a “Skip to content” link at the top.
- Text and buttons have strong color contrast and stay readable when you zoom in up to 200%.
- Every form field has a clear label, and errors are explained in words, not just color.
- Pages use proper headings so they’re easy to move through with a screen reader.
- The site works on phones, tablets and computers, in any orientation.
How we check
We test pages with automated accessibility tools and by hand, including keyboard-only use, and we check again whenever we make changes.
