Privacy policy
Plain English, no fine-print tricks.
Last updated: October 2026
Upper Cumberland Digital (“we,” “us”) is a small, locally owned business run by Josh. This page explains, in plain English, what information this website collects and what we do with it.
The short version
- We only collect what you choose to send us through the contact form or by email.
- We use it to reply to you, and nothing else.
- We don’t sell, rent or trade your information. Ever.
- This site doesn’t use tracking cookies, advertising pixels or analytics that follow you around the web.
What the contact form collects
When you send a message through our contact form, we receive:
- Your name and email address (required)
- Your business name and phone number, if you include them
- The services you check and anything you write in the message box
The form also has a hidden spam-trap field and records when the form was loaded, so we can filter out automated spam. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in your email.
How we use it
We use your information to answer your question, set up a call you asked for, or send a quote. If you become a customer, your service agreement explains how we handle your business’s data for the services you sign up for. We won’t add you to a mailing list or send you marketing emails unless you ask us to.
Cookies and tracking
This website doesn’t set any cookies of its own and doesn’t use tracking or advertising cookies. We don’t use Google Analytics, Facebook pixels or similar tools. If that ever changes, we’ll update this page first.
Who else handles your information
Our website is hosted by Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes basic technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks. Contact-form messages are delivered to our email inbox through our hosting, email and form-delivery providers. These providers only process the information to deliver the service to us. We don’t share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as we need them to help you or to keep normal business records. You can ask us to delete your messages at any time.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you’ve sent us. Just email [email protected] and we’ll take care of it.
Children
This website is meant for business owners and isn’t directed at children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
